Navigating Teenhood

Teens are under a lot of stress and pressure, navigating between the world of childhood to adulthood. They’re given responsibilities like adults, but often feel like they’re treated like children. This often causes a schism with parents, leaving teens closed off or guarded.

We help teens understand themselves better, while still accepting them for who they are and all the things that make them who they are, celebrating their unique personalities.

Establishing a strong relationship with their therapist is essential for your teenager to feel safe.  The ability to be honest with someone that will not judge them has the potential to lead to a happier, healthier life now and in the future.

Counseling for teenagers can assist with school issues, self esteem, anxiety, coping skills, suicidal ideation, self-harming, life transitions, peer relationships, spirituality, and sexuality.
